Rob Levine & Associates is seeking an experienced VA Claims Agent/VBMS Specialist to work in its growing VA disability compensation practice. Our team is looking for an individual who is passionate about assisting one of the nation's most underserved communities -- our veterans.
A VA Claims Agent/VBMS Specialist will primarily assist our team with tasks related to VBMS (Veterans Benefits Management System). This role involves responsibilities such as:
- Reviewing veterans' VBMS files for case updates, such as new Rating Decisions, Comp & Pen exam reports, and development letters
- Pulling a downloadable version of veterans' claims files
- Contacting VA to ensure timely access to veterans' files as well as disbursement of attorney fees
- Confirming receipt and establishment of claims, appeals, and other important correspondence filed by our team with VA
- Managing a small caseload of clients in their VA disability compensation claims

Timely review of veterans' case files in VBMS ensures that our team can provide important updates to our clients on a regular basis. Comprehensive training will be provided.
Required Experience:
- Accreditation by the Department of Veterans' Affairs as a VA Claims Agent or Veteran Service Officer
- Must have a functioning PIV card, which is used to access VA intranet applications
- At least one year of experience with VBMS
Compensation is commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, vision and dental, 401k with employer match, paid time off, and a performance-based bonus. Remote candidates will be considered.
