Facilities Security Programme Manager (NJE) [Portugal]


 

Purpose of Position

Support the Head of Security in the implementation, management, and control of the NetJets Facilities Security Plan to ensure that all NetJets employees, facilities, and assets are secure from acts of unlawful interference. Partner with various functions, including Procurement and Human Resources to manage our security systems to protect people and offices through a central security operations function. Establish and maintain strong relationships with all facility security vendors and suppliers.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact with respect to physical and facilities security, ensuring the security of all NetJets facilities, implementing access control, and monitoring facilities security systems.
  • Ensuring the Head of Security is aware of any threats that can compromise the security of NetJets’ employees, infrastructure, or assets.
  • Provide quick and comprehensive response to critical security-related incidents against NetJets’ employees, facilities, or assets.
  • Implement and review as necessary the NetJets Facilities Security Plan & conduct regular Security Risk Assessments.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on all matters relating to physical security, including: security risk identification, analysis, and mitigation; security awareness; and crisis management.
  • Manage a SOC (Security Operational Centre), including alarm management strategies to manage risk, developing the SOC as the central facilities security station for emergency response for staff, facilities support, emergency notifications, crisis management, and threat/risk intelligence.
  • Collaborate with NetJets departments and vendors to ensure that any new facilities meet all security requirements and best practice.
  • Manage the quality control of facilities security vendors to ensure that they meet our security and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the NetJets Facilities Security Quality Assurance Programme by the regular auditing of NetJets facilities, including the reporting and follow up of any findings and corrective actions.
  • In collaboration with Global Security, implement NetJets standardized specifications for CCTV, premise alarms, protective systems, vaults, safes and coordinate upgrades where required to maintain adequate levels of protection for employees and customers assets and review plans for renovating existing facilities to ensure compliance with NetJets security standards;
  • Supervision of Front Desk and facilities security teams activities at all NetJets facilities to ensure the highest level of security and customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other (KSAOs)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and/or Security Management and 3 years’ experience in security environment; or
  • 6 years’ experience in security management;
  • Good knowledge of physical security/asset protection methods and implementation.
  • Previous experience in aviation security is highly desirable;
  • Security investigation experience is highly desirable;
  • Knowledge of CCTV and premise alarm protection systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
  • Experience with Lenel access control and milestone CCTV software is desirable.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and Business English (written and spoken);
